History

Kelman, Winston & Vallone P.C. was founded in 1957 to represent the injured workers of New York in their claims before the Workers’ Compensation Board. Our practice is built around two principals, protecting our client’s legal rights and compassionately guiding them through what can be a very difficult and confusing legal process.

In New York, nearly all employers are required to provide employees with workers’ compensation insurance. Injured workers are entitled to workers’ compensation benefits, regardless of fault, yet insurance companies often deny or delay legitimate workers’ compensation claims. For over 60 years our attorneys and staff have fought for the benefits that our client’s deserve. We have the valuable knowledge, experience, and expertise needed to navigate the practical and legal issues of workers’ compensation. Our comprehensive legal assistance begins with a free consultation, continues with filing of your claim, representation at administrative hearings and if needed continues through the Board’s appeal process.
